Kiwanis One Day: King Manor Museum.

On Kiwanis One Day, members of Kiwanis Clubs of Queens East Division volunteered at the King Manor Museum in Jamaica. The museum interprets founding father Rufus King's political legacy and antislavery history to teach critical thinking for a healthier democracy.

Special thanks to all the members from the Kiwanis Clubs of Big Apple, NY-USA, Bayside, Douglaston, and Rosedale-Laurelton, who spared their time to make this project a success. The volunteers helped with the beautification project, which was organized by the staff from the King Manor Museum. All plants were purchase by donations from the club members.

We are hoping to revisit the site in spring to see the plants blooming.
